Procedure
We will use a timeline to look at the time period man has been on Earth and compare various periods or ages. While viewing a power point presentation, there is a brief activity which allows students to create their own timeline and see how timelines are helpful in putting a series of events into perspective. A discussion about the difference between "history" and "prehistory" will follow along with a light look at exposing myths about life in prehistory.
Sorry folks, the "Flinstones" were not a real family.
There is no extra credit for knowing the lyrics to the Flinstones theme.
